On the afternoon of May 7th at 3:30 pm, the graduation thesis defense meeting of the 2022 International Law Group Master's Students of Southeast University Law School was held at Y508, Jizhong Building, Jiulonghu Campus, Southeast University. Professor Zhao Zhou from the Law School of Nanjing Audit University serves as the chairman of the defense committee, and together with partner Feng Xianqin from Beijing Dacheng (Nanjing) Law Firm, Associate Professor Lu Lu, Associate Professor Yi Bo, and Associate Professor Ye Quan from the Law School of Southeast University, they form the defense committee. Professor Ma Yanghua from the Law School of Southeast University served as the defense secretary. The defense team strictly followed the requirements of normative documents such as the "Management Measures for the Whole Process of Graduate Thesis Quality of Southeast University Law School" and the "Working Measures for the Quality Guidance Group of Graduate Thesis of Southeast University Law School", and made sufficient preparations for this defense work to ensure its smooth progress.
In the defense, three students introduced the background, research content, research methods, key and difficult points, and main innovative points of their respective papers in sequence. On this basis, members of the defense committee raised many targeted questions based on the content of the paper and student statements, and provided constructive suggestions on how to further revise the paper. The respondent, with sufficient preparation and calm thinking on the spot, answered the questions raised by the defense committee one by one, demonstrating good academic expression ability and critical thinking level. They unanimously stated that they will further revise and improve the content of the paper based on the valuable suggestions provided by the teachers, striving to elevate the quality of the paper to a higher level. Finally, after the collective resolution of the defense committee, it is recommended to award master's degrees to three master's students from the International Law Group. The defense meeting was successfully concluded in a rigorous, professional, and harmonious atmosphere.
