The article titled ‘The Necessity and Legislative Design of Employee Representatives Joining the Audit Committee,’ written by Tian Weijian, a master's student at the Civil Prosecution Research Base of Southeast University, was reprinted in full in the 2nd issue of 2025 of the People's Congress Reprint Periodicals ‘Audit Abstracts.’
Against the backdrop of the new Company Law transferring corporate supervisory authority to the Audit Committee, the article argues for the necessity of employee representatives joining the Audit Committee and proposes optimisation suggestions regarding the Audit Committee's responsibilities, operational mechanisms, and the powers of employee representatives to safeguard employee rights and coordinate labour-management relations.
